How do I find out when my car's first MOT is due?

When’s my MOT due?
In line with UK laws, an MOT test has to be performed at least every 12 months. The only exception here is a brand new car which doesn’t need its first MOT performing until it’s 3 years old. Because you don’t get a reminder for your MOT, the best thing to do is put a reminder on your calendar or in your phone one month before your next MOT is due so you don’t inadvertently get into trouble with the authorities.
